Missing my original story hood
About 3 years ago I wanted to make an original sims story and I have a lot of shots for it in its own folder, but I haven’t played the hood, like, at all since starting San Myshuno.
It’s a story about the people living close-by to the creator of the Pleasantview TV show and their daily lives. It’s mostly lighthearted but it tackles a few more serious topics like eating disorders in athletics, finding out a loved one has HIV/AIDS, transitioning and how it affects everyday life, domestic abuse, losing your faith and leaving a religion, and bias/discrimination in education.
I grew really attached to this story, but when San Myshuno started, I’ve played my old story hood less and less, and I wanted to know if anyone was interested in reading this original story? The original story would be hidden under readmores for the sake of those who just followed for premades. It would not take over San Myshuno, of course. I’m just looking for a reason to play one of my old favorite hoods.
Inspiration has hit me :3c
I’m considering adding in another resident of San Myshuno, he’ll be part of the Broke family’s storyline, that is for sure.
Some hints:
– As always, he is part of and/or related to premade canon
– More specifically, a base game premade
– I don’t think I’ve talked about him but he’s one of my favorite premades
– He’s coming with a family 😀
Shooting a scene using storytelling makeup got me like
“wow I thought this would look really good when I downloaded it, what changed”
Now I gotta experiment with a bajillion different versions of what I want *flops*
If I occasionally posted pics from outside of my San Myshuno hood w Sims I made myself, would you guys be cool w that? I have so many screenshots for a story w episode-like chapters but I wanna check out what you guys think bc you’re the real MVP

get started writing a story and you have all your shots taken for it but you open the post and you’re like… “how do I words?”
I’ve been working on a fluffy family story for Buck & Jill but it’s hard to string it all together…
I’m writing a longer story for Buck and Jill and I just want to say: just decorating for the scenes makes me feel dirty ahahaha
ATS2 came out with a neato set I use all the time now, though, and I’m excited for it to used as clutter for this one :3
(but for reals, I’m so red right now my face is heating up. Please forgive this one will take longer to finish.)
