Because every mention of a party was met with a “nooooooo,” Beau and Frances respected their younger daughter’s wishes by having just a small celebration. Francesca was very happy to have a day all about her!

Returning to school with a tan is a MUST when attending San Myshuno Prep. Only poor people can’t afford luxury tropical vacations or a butler with great knowledge of aloe vera.

Beau listens happily to Isabelle talk about the cute boy she met at the boardwalk, while Frances is internally screaming.

“Eeewww! Not in my room!”

“Hey who’s that poor cutie sitting all by himself?”

“Especially on such a nice day. Someone that hot ought to be swimming!”

“Heeeyyy! I’m Isabelle! I saw you sitting all by yourself, like, what’s the deal with that?”

“Oh, hi Isabelle. My name’s Connor. I wanted to go swimming later, but I really like mahjong, I couldn’t pass it up.”

“Well, um, how about we go swimming together. You’re too cute to melt in the sun!”

“Ohmigosh really? I’ve never been invited to swim before. I think that’d be fun!”

‘I swear to the Watcher he’s even cuter from this angle.’

“That was a really fun swim. You know, I don’t think I’ve seen you at school before? Did you just move here?”

“Oh, no. I just go to private school. Like, everyone on my daddy’s side went there.”

“Oh, that’s too bad we won’t see each other after summer vacation, but how about we hang out sometime?”

“For realsies?”

“Yeah! For, uh, realsies.”

I finally fixed Isabelle’s skintone. If I knew how to de-geneticize the robot arm that’d be even better, but baby steps baby steps. She’s a lil bit paler than I was expecting but that is also ok.

Her aspiration is Popularity, a necessary tool for survival at San Myshuno Prep!
