Well then you won’t be so lazy you could create new empty hood with cleaned up templates and no respawn mods and move your simmies into new place. That works best for me and townies don’t spawn ^.^
I think I might at some point, I even meant to do so back when my hard drive fried until I found a shortcut (aka a backup from December 2014 + remaking the handful of new sims I added since then). But for now I think I’ll stick to it since it has not yet broken on me (thanks, HoodChecker :D)
Yeah I know about these cleaned up versions, they are by meetmetotheriver in MATY I think, but maxis hoods for me work quite well, until I reach 4th generation or get plenty of sims (townies doesn’t help either).
And about your sims in RBH, you can extract them with SimPe and recreate them from bodyshop in another hood.
Ahhh, they worked well for me, too, back in the days of Intel Pentium and flashing red snow. But tbh the lag was probs so bad I never cared much to look for corruption ahahaha

How original hoods managed to get corrupted for you? You played them for long time maybe?
Oh, they were corrupted out of the box by maxis (probs bc Maxis messed around a lot where we now know they weren’t supposed to). I played them before I learned about the new cleaned ones that are downloadable somewhere on the interwebz and totes forgot to replace them (but I did install the snazzy subhoods).
Only one I can’t replace atm is Riverblossom Hills bc I foolishly plopped all my story sims (not the premades used here, but sims from a very old story of mine) there and I just can’t bother moving them, but agingoff (and preventing other big ‘memory making’ events) and regular backups seems to keep it stable.

It might be lot became corrupt. If you have it’s copy in house bin try placing it and moving family perhaps?
That could very well be the case. I used the Maxis AL Duplex, so there might be something to that, considering how the trailer park lot was broken out of AL’s box, too. I’ll start up my game soon so I’ll take a looksie :3
