With Renee’s birthday rapidly approaching, Angela and Dustin decided it was time to have another baby.

Angela is dead set on Renee being the most popular girl in school, maybe even bring in beauty pageant prize money. Mary Sue and Kaylynn already have contacts with a few modelling agencies, just waiting for a gig perfect for their little granddaughter.

Lillith, on the other hand, just wants Louis to not grow up to be a nerd.

Angela insisted a mostly pink environment was best for calming their daughter.

Maybe a little too calming.

“So, do you want to have a boy or a girl?”

As innocent of a question it was, Angela seems to be bothered by it.

“Why should it matter?” She asks. “We’ll still love him or her the same, right?”

“I know we will.” Dustin turns his head forward, keeping his eyes off his wife. “I just thought I’d ask.”

“Hey,” Angela’s voice softens, “don’t feel down about it.” She lowers her volume to a whisper. “I’m secretly hoping we have a girl. I’ve always loved the name Renee, after all.” She giggles.
